Sonoma and Napa counties are world-renowned for their wine. Enjoy visiting a winery or two for a tasting. Be sure to make a reservation in advance! In addition, there are numerous tour options available, including wine and food pairing, bike and wine tasting tour and guided walking tours.

Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve

Healdsburg Plaza

Explore the quaint downtown of Healdsburg. Enjoy one of the many restaurants and strolling through boutiques! There are also numerous wine tasting rooms - some of the best are Thumbprint Cellars, Williamson Winery and Hawley's Winery.

Healdsburg Ridge Open Space Preserve

If you're in need of a break from wining and dining, head ~10 minutes outside of Healdsburg for a leisurely stroll or moderate hike.

Francis Ford Coppola Winery

Visit for wine tasting, beautiful views and the Coppola Winery Movie Museum, which includes a large collection of Coppola movie memorabilia. The winery boasts two pools and an on-site restaurant.

Russian River

Get on the water! Explore the Russian River, which travels through many of the small towns in Northern California on its way to the Pacific Ocean. While it may be too chilly to swim in October, many places in Healdsburg offer kayak and canoe rentals or guided tours. Access in Healdsburg is located at Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach.
