Fantastic for learning a bit more about Hawaiian culture and a very neat luau. Situated near the venue
Kualoa Ranch
Such a great place!! They have all types of adventures - much of Jurassic Park was filmed here! They boast "Secret Beach" as well as tours on horseback and amazing ziplining. We suggest booking prior to arrival as they fill quickly.
Sharks Cove
Don't let the name fool you - this is a fantastic spot for keiki (children) and adults alike. The snorkeling here is renowned and a favorite spot of locals!
Sunset Beach
It's known for its incredible sunsets and the Bonzai pipeline (think surf competitions!). There's also a really neat hike across the way.
Koko Kai Beach Mini Park/China Walls
Home of the beautiful China-walls and definitely IG-worthy!
Alan Davis Beach
really cool lagoons and nice hiking near by!
Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse Trail
Fantastic, beginner/paved hike with gorgeous views and you might even see some whales!
Waimea Bay Beach Park
You definitely want to get here early as parking is rough but this is one neat beach. There are cliffs to jump off of and beautiful ocean-to-mountain views!
Pearl Harbor National Memorial
there are usually several hundred free tickets if you arrive early in the morning
Diamond Head Crater Hike
A mostly paved hike but can be very crowded. The views are incredible
Koko Head Trailhead Parking Lot
A more intermediate-to-difficult hike but beautiful!
ʻAiea Loop Trail
Check out some amazing views and history on this 5-mile-loop. You can see a downed WWII plane as well an aerie of the H3 and Jurassic Park-inspired scenery! Great for older kids but not stroller friendly
North Shore Food Trucks
Awesome area for food trucks and shopping. There are many little artisan shops and restaurants around this area too! Great surf shops also!
Mermaid Caves
Just google it. SO. COOL.
Waimea Falls
Great stroll through gorgeous botanical gardens that ends at a small waterfall! Great for kids and they provide life jackets there as well!
Hanauma Bay
Known to be one of the best snorkeling sites on the island, Hanauma is home to incredible reefs and tropical species. The area is highly regulated so it is best to plan this one in advance and get there early!
Hawaiian Electric Beach Park
This is a great snorkeling spot and home to tons of neat sealife! The water is always warm and you can always catch snorkelers, divers, and spear fishermen here!
Ko Olina Lagoon 1-4
There are 4 lagoons here - all great for exploring! These are also quite close to Ko'olina Resort Properties!

SALT At Our Kaka'ako
Basically Honolulu's Arts-And-Delicious-Foods-District - Check out The Barking Crab, Moku Kitchen, and the markets (there's a farmer's market on the weekend!! so many local foods - cheap!) as well as really neat murals and artwork all over!
Duke's Waikiki
While definitely in the more "touristy" Waikiki area, this place is great for live music on the beach, good cocktails and bar bites. We recommend eating on the patio (First-come-first-serve) but the menu/food is better and far more affordable. Also - who wants to sit inside in Hawaii?!
