A small town girl, Kayla found herself moving to large(er) Orlando for her new career. Ross landed in Orlando because frankly he lived just about everywhere for a short amount of time, and why not. Our paths crossed with the help of our cell phones where we met for chips and queso (our favorite) and then constantly texted each other for months straight. A relationship ensued and we traded the long hours at work and time away from home for each other. Fast forward four years, we flew up to New York City for the surprise proposal. I told Kayla to pack nice clothes for no reason at all, and her -dog mom- sweater was not an option when we went out exploring. When the camera angle was perfect and I steered Kayla back on the proper path (she wanted to take a detour) I knelt down on the Bow Bridge in Central Park and proposed. We celebrated the moment with more walking around Central Park, and a surprise photoshoot with the photographer that captured a truly memorable moment that we will both cherish forever.
