Randomness to Romance

7.6.10

P.J. and I met in high school...well we actually "met" on Facebook, but we were in high school at the time. The funny thing is, about a year before we became friends on Facebook and became "official", he and I had randomly encountered each other multiple times and never gave the other person a second look. These encounters even included him sitting across from me at a lunch table, because he knew my cousin (and her boyfriend at the time). I even helped my cousin get P.J.'s jacket back from his ex (he and my cousin were obviously friends...in hindsight she now says she should have officially introduced us then). Every time I saw this kid, I would roll my eyes at him and think "who does this guy think he is?!", I didn't even know him and I got his freaking jacket from his ex...what? Anyway these random encounters soon turned into romance after I sent him a friend request on Facebook - even when I sent the friend request I had no idea that this was the same guy who sat across from me or the same guy who needed his jacket back. Since then our love has only grown. We've seen each other at our best and at our worst, only making us stronger than the day before and allowing our love to reach new heights. It's funny you know, this world has a way of bringing two people together, I had no idea the boy who sat across from me at a lunch table was going to be my husband some day. The universe knew though - and that's why we are here today, marrying the love of our lives.

The Wedding

Important Details About The Big Day

The ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony, this means no cell phones, no pictures, no snap chats, etc. We made this decision because we want everybody to be present and really be 'in the moment' with us. Also, we are paying a photographer - so let them do their job and get pictures of this amazing day without a million cellphones captured in the pictures we are paying for! Invitations will be very specific as to who they are for and whether or not a guest will have a plus one as an option! Another big piece of information (that may be annoying to some but it's my wedding, so it's my choice) is that we decided to not include children as a part of the guest list - unless they are in the wedding or listed on the invitation. We understand this may be an inconvenience for some and at the same time we have our reasons for our decision! We are so excited to share this special day with those we love and consider family. See you in September!
