Who would've guessed a Facebook post would lead to the love story of a lifetime. Nearly a decade ago, Kayla decided to write a 'truth is' status in hopes a senior boy would like it, and he did. From there, a relationship started to blossom, slowly but surely. Not many believed they would make it, as Nathan left for the Navy straight out of high school. But there was no denying even then their love for each other. So both decided to push through and make it, a promise they refused to break. And they didn't break that promise. Five years later, Nathan got out of the military and joined Kayla at Michigan State University. Once out of college, they decided to visit the ocean, a place they both hold very close to their hearts. As vast and endless as the sea is, it always brought them back home to each other. That's when Nathan proposed, making the same promise all those years ago; to always stick together. And here we are now! Ready to celebrate with all of our family and friends on a decade-long relationship. We want our special day to be filled with laughter, partying, romance, and fun.
