We're getting married!

Like all great love stories of the 21st century we first met online! This story began with a mutual friend adding us both into a heated debate being had on MSN Messenger (a blast from the past!). It was from there we continued to chat online, and the rest is history...

It started like any other day. Mum, Del, Michael and I (Kayla) were bound for Sydney for a day of shopping and to see Grease the Musical. Mustafa was just going to have a day at home to do what I can only assume as ‘manly’ things…so not much. Shopping was done, and a musical was seen. Upon leaving the theatre I looked up and to my surprise I saw Mustafa standing there in the middle of the foyer. I had no idea what he was doing there. He said that he wanted to surprise me and thought it would be nice if we had a weekend away in Sydney. I thought ‘oh how romantic’. We went out for a lovely dinner that night and the next morning Mustafa had organised a tour of the Sydney Opera House (something that I had always wanted to do). We were walking up the stairs of the Opera House and decided to stop and look out onto the harbour before the tour started. It was there that Mustafa started saying some would consider either vomit worthy or romantic, and then asked if I would marry him. After 7 years of waiting, I had no hesitation in saying Yes! Little did I know it would take another 7 years to get married…but we are finally here!
