Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Thank you in advance for sending back your RSVP before June 1st! You may mail back the RSVP card you received in the mail with the number of guests that are planning to attend, as well as RSVPing right here on our website. There are a lot of you and we want to make sure none of our loved ones fall through the cracks! Thank you for taking the time to RSVP! However, if we don't receive an RSVP from you by June 1st, Max and I will assume you're not planning to attend and will not include you in our final numbers, which determine if we have enough food/seats for everyone. By not RSVPing, you are essentially forfeiting your invitation and will no longer be on our guestlist. So please, RSVP on time!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Although we would love to offer everyone a plus one, we have a strict guestlist to help us stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. Those who have been invited are specifically named on their invitation. Please do not bring any unmentioned plus-ones. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for items we need in our newlywed home. You can find a link here: https://www.myregistry.com/wedding-registry/kayla-kohlhase-and-max-dapcevich-juneau-ak/4148304 If you generously decide to purchase a gift for us, we ask that you send it directly Kayla's parents home address of 10753 Horizon Drive, Juneau AK, 99801. This is because we are traveling away from home to get married, and we will have limited space to bring gifts home with us. If your gift is small and you'd like to bring it in person, there will be a place for you to put it, as well as a box for any cards. We thank you for supporting us through this next stage of life as married couple!

Question

Should a bring a gift if I'm traveling?

Answer

Since you're traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself - physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! However if you do choose to brose our registry, any items can be shipped directly to Kayla's parents home address: 10753 Horizon Drive, Juneau AK, 99801

Question

Where should I stay??

Answer

Please check out our Travels page where we have plenty of hotel details for you to find something that works best for you and your family!

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Please save Pine Creek's address in your phone for easy access! Google maps works wonders when trying to find your way around! Pine Creek Farms & Nursery and Events, 23225 Sofie Rd, Monroe, WA 98272

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We are asking that you arrive at 3:00pm, no later than 3:15pm. There will be refreshments offered before the ceremony begins, and this would be a great time to sign the guest book or catch up with family you haven't seen in a while! Our lovely coordinator JoJo will direct you down to the ceremony site at 3:20pm.

Question

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! Pine Creek has ample parking, with two gravel lots upon entering the grounds. There will be signage directing you where to go, but you can't miss it!

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The WA natives know that August is typically sunny and hot! Our ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be outside on the patio however there are plenty of places for shade and A/C indoors. We will also be handing out fans and bottles of water before the ceremony to help minimize any heat.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see family and friends dress up with us! Dress code is semi-formal to formal attire. Ladies, this means midi, tea-length or floor length dresses. Gentlemen, this means dress shirt and tie, with the option of either a sports coat or suit. Please no jeans, or crazy graphics as we'd love our photos to be cohesive, but don't be shy with color! Our wedding colors are dusty blue and rust, with pops of yellows, pinks, and oranges. Think 'Retro Garden Party' when trying to choose an outfit!

Question

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have the limit the rehearsal dinner guests to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who were hoping to attend, but we are so excited to see you at the wedding!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment presently with us and leave all cell phones or cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture every detail of our wedding, and of course, we will share those photos with all of you! After the ceremony, we would LOVE for you to capture our special day and we encourage you to snap away! We will have a QR code set up in various places for you to scan and join our Event Album, where all of your photos will go throughout the night!

Question

Are the ceremony/ reception wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Pine Creek is all one level with wide doorways and paved floors. However to reach the ceremony site, which is on the lawn, you will need to walk down a gravel hill. Please reach out if this worries you so we can accommodate you and make this day stress free for everyone!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Please take a look at our Timeline Page, but after the ceremony, the wedding party will be called for photos and our guests will have time to enjoy our cocktail hour! We've set up some games and activities to do during this time, as well as some sips and snacks. This is also a wonderful time to explore the surrounding gardens, as Pine Creek Nursery is stunning!

Question

Will there be food and drinks at the cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving two signature cocktails, as well as other non acholic beverages and will also have a lovely grazing table for you to tear into during this time. Cocktail hour is the only time to order one of these signature drinks, and they will no longer be available during dinner when we will transition to beer/wine/champagne, so if you want one (or two) make sure you grab them before we all sit down for the reception! This is to make sure we don't overwhelm our lovely bartenders, and keep the venue as beautiful as it was before we arrived!

Question

What are we having for dinner?

Answer

Our caterers have set up a wonderful dinner for you all to enjoy. This will be served buffet style. While we're not going to disclose the menu just yet, rest assured there will meat and non-meat options, as well as kid-friendly items. If you have any dietary restrictions please reach out and let us know so we can accommodate you.
