What is the address of the venue?

Answer

221 Main Street Altamont, NY 12009 Your GPS may be inaccurate, so be sure to read the directions below and keep an eye out for the 221 Main Street sign. Directions: 1) Proceed west on Rt 20/Western Ave, from Stuyvesant Plaza for 4.5 miles. 2) Turn left on Rt 146W for 5 miles, and come into the village. You are now on Main Street. 3) Stay on Main Street, through the village. Note at the park Rt 146 turns right, do NOT continue on Rt 146. 4) Stay on Main Street and pass the railroad tracks and proceed up the hill on Main Street for .4 miles. 5) On the left are three driveways in a row, turn onto the third driveway, which has the 221 Main Street and Altamont Manor signs.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors in a shaded, grassy area. The reception will be primarily indoors, with a veranda and lawn available for hanging out and lawn games.

Which airport is nearest to the venue? Are there alternative travel options?

Answer

Albany International Airport (ALB) is the nearest airport. You could also take an Amtrak train into the Albany-Rennselear Train Station (ALB), which is about a half an hour drive from the venue.

Will there be hotel blocks?

Answer

Unfortunately we are unable to have hotel blocks. The wedding parties will be staying at the Desmond Hotel Crowne Plaza in Albany. See the Hotels & Travel page for details.
