This is the resort that we are staying in and that we will be getting married in. There are no blocked out rooms (they do not offer that service), but use the last name “Kirby” for a discount. There is a shuttle if you stay here that can take you into town for free.

Great hotel and casino. About 15 minutes away from wedding venue. There is a shuttle bus that can come here and for a small fee take you to the wedding venue.

Forest Suites Resort

Across the street from the Heavenly Ski Gondola and Heavenly Village, this family-owned resort is 0.8 miles from Lake Tahoe. The casual, cozy rooms feature coffeemakers and flat-screen TVs. Suites add living rooms and dining areas, plus kitchens and whirlpool tubs. Buffet breakfast is free. There are 2 seasonal pools and 2 spas, plus mid-week wine and cheese receptions, and movie nights.
