Question

Is There A Dress Code?

Answer

Yes! It's an Elevated ALL Black Affair! We kindly ask that all guest wear black, Yes- ALL BLACK! Please come Red Carpet ready but be comfortable. Your presence and adherence to our Dress Code will surely add to the sophistication of the evening. If you have any questions about the dress code - please reach out to the Bride or Groom. The dress code is NOT optional.

What Date Do I need to RSVP By?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guest RSVP no later than Monday, April 21st, 2025. After this date, our final guest list will be submitted, and we will no longer be able to accommodate any changes. No exceptions.

How Do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP at anytime by clicking the "RSVP" tab on our website. From there you will be prompted to enter your name as listed on your invitation. Once you have located your name, if permitted you will be able to enter the name of your guest/plus one. Please NOTE: Including a Plus One is optional, but a name MUST be provided for your guest/plus one to be considered. If mark that you have a guest/plus one but you do not include a name we will review this as "NO PLUS ONE INCLUDED". If you are unsure of your Plus One, please wait to RSVP as you will not be able to make changes to your guest once approved. In the event you RSVP and find later that you or your guest will not make it, please alert the Bride and Groom immediately.

Are Children Allowed?

Answer

We absolutely LOVE your children- However, we've decided to keep our wedding as an adult-only event. There will be no children allowed at the venue during the ceremony or the reception. Please be sure to preplan child care for the evening. We hope you understand and can enjoy kid free time with us! (Ages 18+)

Can I Bring a Date or Plus One?

Answer

You are allowed one Guest/Plus One with approval from the Bride & Groom. Please write in the person's name with your RSVP (A guest/plus one is optional but including their name is NOT- if you do not include a name we will review this as NO PLUS ONE INCLUDED). If you are unsure of your Plus One, please wait to RSVP as you will not be able to make changes to your guest once approved. In the event you RSVP and find later that you or your guest will not make it, please alert the Bride and Groom immediately.

What If I Cannot Make It?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed. Please be sure to RSVP "Regretfully Decline". If you have already RSVP'd as "Attending", but find that you can no longer make it- please notify the Bride or the Groom.

What Happens If I Don't RSVP in Time?

Answer

In the event you do not RSVP in time, we will take this as a declined invite. We will miss you celebrating with us, however- we must provide final guest counts to all of our venders in a timely manner which means we will NOT accept late RSVP's. We truly hope you understand.

Is personal photography/video allowed during the Ceremony?

Answer

We have a professional Photographer/Videographer Team that will capture our special moment. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos and videos during the ceremony so that it doesn't block or interfere with our Media Team. - But after the ceremony, we encourage you to take as many photos and video as you can; but remember to be mindful of the media staff.

What Time Should I arrive to the Wedding?

Answer

The Wedding will start at 5:45pm. Please plan to arrive at the venue 15-30 minutes early so that you can park and get seated comfortably and ON TIME- Nobody will be allowed into the ceremony after the start time.

Is the Ceremony and Reception being held at the same location?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception will both be held at The Atlanta History Center.

What Happens After The Ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guest will enjoy cocktail hour with drinks and hors d’oeuvres while the wedding party is off taking photos.

Is There Parking at The Venue?

Answer

Yes, The venue has a dedicated parking garage along with accessible parking for all guest. Please Note: We recommend considering alternative transportation options like using Uber/Lyft, especially since alcohol will be served - Your safety is our priority, and we want everyone to enjoy the festivities responsibly.

If I am traveling from out of town, are there lodging options that the Bride/Groom will provide?

Answer

We encourage you to make arrangements for your stay that make you most comfortable. Some options include AirBNB, VRBO, and hotels near or surrounding the venue.

Will There Be an Open Bar?

Answer

Absolutely! The drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! We're delighted to offer an open bar to everyone! * Please Drink Responsibly & arrange transportation from the venue *

Will any parts of the wedding be held outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will be held outside. Please plan to be outside for atleast 45 minutes. All other events will be held inside.

Are pets allowed?

Answer

Absolutely NOT- if you require a service animal of any kind, please contact the Bride & Groom to discuss.

Are there dedicated areas for smoking at the venue?

Answer

You are allowed smoke anywhere outside. Please be respectful and clean up after yourself.

Is the venue ADA Compliant/Fully wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! There are accommodations for parking, bathrooms, and ramps for anyone in a wheelchair.

What type of Reception environment should we expect?

Answer

Cocktail hour and dinner will present a light and airy atmosphere. Post dinner activities will create a party ambiance. We understand if you choose to leave at the start of the party.

Where can we find the bride and groom’s registry?

Answer

We are so blessed to have everything we need, so instead of a traditional registry, we’ve created a Happily Ever After Fund to help us start our journey together. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, but if you wish to contribute, you can do so through our wedding website. We appreciate your love and generosity! Please Note: There will not be a place at the venue to store physical gifts but there will be a card box where you may leave cards for the Newlyweds. If you have any questions, please contact the Bride or Groom.

How do we contribute to the bride and groom’s Happily Ever After Fund?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, but if you wish to contribute, you can do so through our wedding website. We have set up our Happily Ever After Fund through Zola! To contribute: 1.) Visit our wedding website. 2.) Click on the "Registry" tab. 3.) Select the "Our Happily Ever After Fund" option. 4.) Follow the prompts to complete your gift.
