Kayla “Our journey began long before we officially met. Lance was a standout on the Boro basketball team, where he played alongside my brother in 2008. I remember countless evenings cheering from the bleachers secretly admiring number 31. Fast forward 9 years later, our paths crossed at a place & time neither of us could expect, Ruby Tuesday's. A mutual friend decided to play matchmaker and set us up, and from that moment on, nothing was the same. We spent basically every minute together and I quickly fell in love with him. I realized early on that I found the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. Lance was and continues to be the goofiest, most kindhearted man and he makes me feel the happiest I've ever felt. Being with Lance is an adventure filled with endless laughter, love and unforgettable moments. I'm incredibly fortunate to have him by my side forever.” Lance “I got to know Kayla through a mutual friend at work, we started as close friends but as time went on we began to grow closer and spend more time in each others company forming the foundation we have now. Ever since I met her she has always been a beacon of encouragement, love, and compassion. I wouldn't be the man I am without her, she brings me life when I'm feeling down and happiness when I'm not myself. She, simply put is nothing short of amazing. 1 of a kind and I'm glad she's mine.

It was Lance's 30th birthday- we celebrated at dinner with friends. Little did I know this night would forever change our lives. After dinner, we headed back to my house under the guise of opening presents. As we walked in, my mom and dad greeted us and instructed us to close our eyes. Intrigued, we followed their lead, passing through the kitchen where I distinctly noted "It smells like salsa." Lance then tells me to open my eyes and I was met with the most breathtaking sight, my living room was filled with our closest friends and family. Surrounded by loved ones, Lance got down on knee, told me he would be a fool to wait any longer and then asked me to be his wife, it was the easiest yes of my life! We were surrounded by so much love and happiness that night, it is a feeling the both of us will never forget. We can't wait to have everyone that means most to us under one roof November 8th, 2024!! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in November!
