Our love story shockingly began when we met on Tinder in October of 2021. For clarification, Kayla did not swipe right first, since Juan will most definitely try to tell you differently. At first, we weren’t looking for anything serious. We were two people trying to navigate life, yet in the most unexpected way, found something that neither of us could have ever imagined. Our relationship is best described as your “third love” — the kind of love that comes unexpectedly, but changes your world forever. We were not looking for a relationship, yet we fell in love with the pieces of one another that weren’t always easy to love. When reflecting on the last four years together, we each fought endlessly and never gave up. We’ve weathered storms, faced challenges, and learned so much about ourselves and each other along the way. Our relationship was tested in ways we couldn’t have anticipated, but each time, we chose to grow stronger and choose each other over and over again. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has been more than worth it.
