Like many modern romances, our journey began with a swipe — but what started as a simple match on a dating app quickly turned into something unforgettable. One of our very first conversations was about Teen Titans (because obviously, a shared love for superheroes is the foundation of any great relationship). After a few days, our first date was at Puttshack, where we played a competitive (but friendly!) round of mini golf — and our adventure officially began. As cheesy as it sounds, when John first saw Kayla, it felt like the world around us faded into the background — a sea of people turned to gray, and she was the only one in color. That moment still feels just as vivid. After just a few dates, it was clear that this was something different - this was more than just a connection. It was the beginning of a lifelong adventure.
