FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids-- we really do! And, we want our night to be your night off. We ask that you leave your kiddos behind. For close family who are traveling from out of state, or whose kids are in the wedding, we will have a couple babysitters on site so everyone can enjoy age appropriate fun!

Question

Appropriate wedding attire?

Answer

Cocktail & Garden Attire: sundresses, cocktail dresses, suits or pants, dressy jumpsuits, etc. But, we love you for who you are, not for your clothes--come in whatever way you feel most yourself.

Question

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

We are asking everyone to come “unplugged”. While we appreciate your desire to capture our day, we have wonderful professionals for that and would prefer everyone to be fully present. Please no photos during the ceremony. We want to see your lovely faces not your phones and cameras!

Question

Things to be mindful of if staying for the weekend?

Answer

Red Feather is at about 8,000 ft. So, we highly recommend brining layers. It can cool down at night, and you never know when a CO thunderstorm will roll through. Also, stay hydrated! If choosing to drink, also be mindful of consumption, as alcohol can hit you quicker at higher altitudes. Restaurants and grocery items are limited up in Red Feather. Consider packing food with you for snacks, breakfasts and lunches. There are a few restaurants, including one on the golf course that has limited hours.
