Where do I enter the Planters Inn?

Answer

Please enter under the wrought iron gate on North Market Street by the sign that says "Peninsula Grill."

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Planters Inn has valet parking available for $40. There are also plenty of nearby parking garages. However, we will be having an open bar so we recommend walking or Ubering if you can!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 1, 2024.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to limited seating. We hope you are able to join us anyway and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends and family!

Can I take photos on my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We request that you refrain from photography during the entire ceremony. We’ve asked a professional photographer to capture this special moment so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy it with us.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally included on your wedding invitation. If you recieved a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want our guests to be comfortable, but of course want to see everyone dressed up! There is no dress code, but we recommend a semi-formal approach. Ladies can wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen can wear a dress shirt and slacks or suit and tie.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, with the reception taking place indoors. The average temperature in Charleston in April is a comfortable 73°!

What type of food will be served?

Answer

A variety of hors d'oeuvres will be passed during cocktail hour and we'll have food stations with several types of cuisine to choose from for the reception.
