What time should I arrive?

Answer

We'll start everything promptly at 5:15pm, but strongly suggest arriving a bit early around to get a good spot and since there is a bit of a walk to get to the ceremony site from the Parking Lot.

Is there a dress code or color scheme required?

Answer

Nope! You can come in whatever you feel most comfortable in, but if you will be in photos and are immediate family, I suggest semi-formal! And if you'd like to match the color scheme. You can wear black, dark green, rust, or any other neutral color!

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Of course! All kids will be listed on your household RSVP profile so just let us know if they are coming so we can make sure there's enough food and seats for them! We will also have kids-designated tables during the reception with activities and a special kids menu item for dinner! So definitely a kid-friendly event!

Will there be dancing?

There will definitely be an amusing interpretation of it. Lol

Do I have to RSVP? Can't I just tell you I'm going to be there (or not)?

If you want to have a seat and be fed, yeah ya do. 🫠

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

FUR SURE! There will be a cash bar at the reception and will remain open for the entirety of the evening.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We are having a buffet style dinner, so hopefully everyone will be able to compile a meal that will make them happy. BUT if you have specific concerns or allergies, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we will confer with our caterer.

Are there specific rules for Garden of the Gods?

Answer

A few, yes! Here are some of the guidelines from their website: Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are allowed. Please care for the natural environment–only bring in chairs for the elderly or disabled. Blocking off areas, including parking, is not permitted. Please stay on established trails. Visitors and other groups may be at the same site. Please be respectful of other park users.
