Were finally Celebrating!

July of 2018 was supposed to be a day of just fun horseback riding... . But like Colorado weather, Stevens horse Colorado decided to change up unexpectedly, and she stormed off throwing him around like a tornado in the middle of Kansas. That was the beginning of a friendship that Esteban was determined to never to let go of, despite any obstacles that came our way. We were there for each other through thick and thin! And there was a LOT of thick and thin moments, let me tell ya! But patience and support went a long way! Soon, the battle field we stood on later turned into a ground breaking beginning to the rest of our lives! On March 12, 2020 we were blessed with our baby boy LUKKAH! A blessing unexpected, but truly a blessing! A month later the proposal happened! Esteban and the boys together surprised Kayla with a sweet Will You Marry Me?! Each boy had their own word... (Nene) Will....(lijah) You...(Jazz) Me....and Steven slid in on his knee with baby Lukkah holding the ring....saying ME! *giggle* The sweetest proposal! He included the boys! How could she say no? *laugh* We've always heard the saying "Marry your best friend.", but we never thought we'd actually get the opportunity to do so! Esteban truly was the best-est friend anyone could ask for! How sweet it is, that we finally got to call each other husband and wife! AND to have our handsome sons there to cherish these memorable moments with us makes it that much more sweet! SO....On May 13th of 2020 we went to the court house and filled out our marriage license and were officially married! SADLY though, we all know that 2020 threw us all an unfortunate curve ball with the crazy pandemic, which held us from having an actual ceremony! BUT here we are a year later, hoping to enjoy this special occasion with our friends and family, OUTSIDE with LOVE and SAFETY in mind! July 24th 2021 we will be, saying YES we STILL Do, and doin the Boot Scootin Boogie right after! THANK YOU COLORADO!
