They met in high school as young 14 year olds. David was shy and Kayla was outgoing (not much has changed) and they truly brought out the best in one another. Where one was quiet, the other was loud. Where one was weak the other was strong. They went from sharing a locker in the high school hallways to sharing notes in their college courses. Kayla followed David to Illinois State where they both graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology. Throughout their relationship they have suffered loss and experienced happiness. They have gained opportunities and closed past doors. They have supported each other in career choices, dreams and goals. They continue to love each other through the hardship and come out stronger than they were before. They support one another as though they are one. They make each other smile on the good days and comfort on the bad. They complete each other, in a soulmate kinda love. A type of love you will only experience once, and they are so thankful they get to experience it with one another.
