Dante and Kayla first met in middle school, long before they could have imagined the life they would build together. They dated twice in high school — each time only lasting about a month — and during one of those early romances, Kayla’s dad even gave Dante the classic “don’t hurt my daughter” sit-down talk to try and scare him off (sorry Rick it didn’t work lol). After high school, they both went on to have long-term relationships, but somehow, they always found their way back to each other. Anytime one of them was single again, they would reach out — checking in, catching up, and reminding themselves that there was always something special between them. In 2022, when they were both finally single, they reconnected for real. They talked at the beginning of the year, then found their way back to each other again toward the end. This time, it was different. They made it official in January, and by May, they were already living together. At the end of November, their lives changed forever when they found out they were expecting a baby. In January, they learned they were having a boy — and later that same month, they moved into their first home together. That spring, they took a babymoon to Florida, a place that now holds a very special place in their hearts. They celebrated their growing family with a baby shower at the end of May. In July, Kayla was induced, and on July 31st, Luca made his beautiful entrance into the world. Since then, they have been raising the most perfect little boy and building a beautiful life together, full of love, laughter, and unforgettable family adventures. In June of 2025, Dante asked Kayla to marry him, and she happily said yes. Then in September, they vowed their relationship to the Lord, placing God at the center of their love and their future. What started as a high school crush turned into a forever kind of love, and they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of their story with all of you.
