Surprise! We’re thrilled to share that we’ve purchased a home in Hudson, Wisconsin. We’ll be closing in March, just ahead of the wedding, and can’t wait to move in and grow into this space together as we begin this next chapter.

Our engagement took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Willow River State Park in Hudson, Wisconsin, a place Dan and Kayla have grown to love over the past year while spending many hours walking and talking along its trails. Dan made the day especially meaningful by surprising Kayla with the presence of her parents and sister, Julia, along with both of his parents and their pastor, Larry, who were there to witness the proposal.

Our wedding day is especially meaningful, as it coincides with the two-year anniversary of when we officially began dating, a date made even sweeter by its “3-2-1” pattern.

Dan and Kayla fell for Bayfield’s Lake Superior views and small-town charm just before their engagement. The town feels like a warm hug, and we hope our wedding guests will experience this vibe too.
