The Milners

After a long day of work at Uline and 2 hours at the gym, DaMarkus drove to the wrong location of Utopia Nails & Spa to get himself a pedi/mani. No he didnt shower before he went there. Kayla, one of Utopia’s finest nail techs, was assigned to DaMarkus to give him a pedi/mani. Mind you, she got off at 6:45pm but this guy went to the wrong location, so she was asked to stay late. Of course she did after she saw him... Kayla walked down a long row of empty pedicure chairs in the faint purple light that radiates off of the waterfall in the room to get to where DaMarkus was siting with his feet already soaking in the water. He had on sweatpants, a hoodie, a snapback with a pair of rediculously large headphones going over his hat. He looked like the man of her dreams and she knew it before she carefully sat down. “Hi! im Kayla, i’ll be doing your services today.” With a smile on her face. He was lost for words, or maybe he didn’t hear her with the headphones on.... who knows! In this moment DaMarkus was insanely embarassed. “Where did this beautiful woman come from? Please God don’t let her do my pedicure. OMG I hope shes not doing my pedicure. OMG she is sitting down. OMG you’re such an idiot for not showering.” God had other plans for DaMarkus. Little did he know he was about to get a life changing pedicure & a life partner! They had a very organic and natural connection to one another right away. An effortless conversation led to DaMarkus asking for her number at the end of his manicure. She could not resist the thought of seeing him again so she caved and handed over the digits. He checked out, left her a heafty tip, and proceeded to text her right away. Smooth. “Hey, me and a friend are going to boat house tonight, do you want to meet us there ?” Kayla of course went with her friend Aubrey. And the rest is history! We started dating on June 27th, 2019 at the Kane Brown concert in Milwaukee ❤️
