It all started back in February of 2022 when both Kayla and Christian were working as interns at a student camp a part of North Point Ministries. At this camp, they simply noticed each other but never talked or even knew each others names. Kayla was serving on the volunteer team, while Christian was the Dj for the weekend. Coincidentally, Kayla's youngest sister Bella was attending this camp as a senior in high school and happened to get a picture of her Small Group with Christian at his "Dj Booth". She still has this picture on her instagram to this day. Fast forward to early September of 2022, Christian had found Kayla on instagram and followed her. Not long after Kayla had followed him back, Christian had slid in the DMs, commenting on a post Kayla had made about UGA's college football domination. The banter of college football shortly turned into hours of DMing back and forth then led to days of non-stop texting, phone calls, and face times which then finally translated to their first date at the Cumming Fair on October 8th. 3 years later, on February 21st, 2025, Christian would ask Kayla to spend the rest of her life with him at "Pretty Place Chapel" in Greenville. In just a few months (almost exactly 3 years to the day of knowing one another) they will become man and wife. Christian and Kayla both are still working for the same student ministry to this day. Kayla is now full-time staff and Christian is entering his two-year residency while getting his Masters in Theology. They are both so excited and so ready to start a life together. Their story is a testament to God's goodness, faithfulness, and perfect timing. Their prayer as a couple is that their life and marriage would sing and reflect God's character and bring glory to Him in all that they do.
