Is there a dress code?

Ceremony & Reception: Cocktail Attire- Dress to impress in cocktail attire—think suits, dresses, or elegant jumpsuits. We kindly ask that you leave the jeans and casual attire at home for this special occasion. Welcome Party: We invite you to dress in more casual attire. Whether it’s a sundress, khakis, or a polo, we want you to feel comfortable as we kick off the wedding festivities!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so we recommend dressing comfortably for the season. Ladies, consider wearing block heels or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What is the parking situation?
Answer
There is free parking at the venue! Cars can stay there overnight, they just need to be picked up by 10am Sunday morning. We are still working to transportation from the hotel to the venus site!
Question
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
No. Please refrain from using your cellphone during the ceremony to take personal photos & video. We want everyone to be present with us and will be happy to share our professional photos with you!
Question
Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We have a room block at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Houghton. This is the hotel where the bride and groom are staying. There are other hotels nearby that may be less expensive if guests are looking for a different option.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
We will be hosting a welcome party on Friday June 27th at the Bonfire!
