For nearly two decades, we lived practically as neighbors, our lives running parallel until divine intervention finally brought us together. We may have shopped in the same stores or traveled the same roads, completely unaware of how close we were to one another. But it simply wasn't our time. We shared countless connections without ever crossing paths. We knew many of the same people and experienced remarkably similar chapters in our lives. Even our first jobs were identical, and we worked alongside many of the same coworkers. The only difference? He came and went just before I arrived. At one point, he lived in a city more than one hundred miles away. Yet somehow, life led me there as well—just minutes from where he could have been. Still, our paths remained separate. Looking back, it feels as though a greater plan was unfolding all along, one far beyond our understanding. It wasn't until we had each experienced the trials, lessons, and triumphs meant for us that our roads finally converged. Never has anything felt so kismet. At last, it was our time. Because of everything we had learned along the way, we were able to meet each other on equal ground, accepting one another fully for all that we were. From the moment we collided, there was an undeniable sense of fulfillment—as though we had found the missing piece of each other's puzzle. In that instant, we knew we were ready to begin the rest of our lives together.
