We're Getting Married!

Kayla and Austin’s journey began long before they officially met. Their connection started with their dads, who played basketball together in Naperville, where both Kayla and Austin were born and raised. Although they grew up in the same town, their paths didn’t truly align until they both attended Butler University, where their love story began in the second semester of their freshman year. During the summer before their junior year, they spent a month studying abroad together in Prague, Czech Republic, where they discovered their shared passion for traveling the world, and something they hoped would become a lifelong adventure together. After graduating in 2021, Kayla and Austin moved in together in River North, Chicago, where they still live today. They share their lives with their beloved son, Wilson (a spirited 2½-year-old French Bulldog). Together, they love exploring Chicago’s vibrant restaurant scene and traveling the world. Their favorite destinations so far include the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Austria, Peru, Portugal, and Italy. As they look ahead to their future together, Kayla and Austin are excited to continue growing as partners, building a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. They cannot wait to celebrate their wedding with their cherished family and friends in beautiful Sarasota, Florida!
