What Should I Wear?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! We are requesting formal attire for the evening. Women think mid-long dresses. Men think suit and tie. Our wedding party will be wearing green and brown. We ask you to avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride -whites, ivories, and creams.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Our cocktail hour will be held outside on the patio, weather permitting.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttles to take guests from the hotel (Courtyard Hartford Cromwell) to the reception and back at the end of the evening. Guests are responsible for transportation to and from the ceremony.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 pm in the chapel. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to park, find your seat, and settle in.

Can I Take Pictures During the Ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures, which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like, and don't forget to share them with us!
