The nearest major airport is Denver International Airport (DIA), located about 3 hours from Steamboat. For those traveling from out of state, the most affordable recommendation is to fly into DIA and rent a car to drive to Steamboat from there. Alternatively, there are connecting flights from Denver to Yampa Valley Regional Airport. Regardless, we highly recommend renting a car for the weekend so you can take advantage of all the mountain activities in the area!
