As most of you know, the way we met wasnt the most ideal or romantic way of meeting your forever spouse, but it was interesting, none the less. We both worked at Wendy’s in Reo, but always on seperate shifts until fate had its way and we worked the same shift together. The first time we locked eyes, it was like we both knew we were looking at the person our hearts had been searching for all of that time. We exchanged stories about our tattoos and the next thing you knew, we were exchanging numbers and the whirlwind like romance began. Our love has been a fire that hasnt stopped burning ever since.
I had known Jordan was the one I wanted to marry, for a very long time. They say good things take time, so I was in no rush as long as I knew he was the one I got to be with at the end of the day. We had a double date planned with two of our closest friends at The Farmer and Frenchman in Henderson KY, a fancy winery that my friend had picked out. We sat and ate dinner with our friends and laughed and shared stories and enjoyed ourselves like any other night; I was clueless! Then after dinner, we stepped onto the patio outside of the winery to take dinner pictures as we were all dressed up, and the next thing I know, Jordan is grabbing my hand and asking me how much I loved him, of course the response I always give is “more than there are stars in the sky” and then he dropped to one knee, pulled out the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen, and asked me my most favorite question I’d ever been asked. Of course I said a million times yes and cried like a baby😂 a couple of years, planning like crazy, and a few pandemics later, we’re finally tying the knot!
