We met at work. Steven had been there for a few years, and I was just the new girl starting out. There I am, terrified, but excited, to meet these new people, and in walked Steven. I thought he would be a good person to try and be friends with. We were introduced...and I instantly disliked him. What was I thinking? This man was so arrogant and annoying! I told myself then and there he would just be a coworker and nothing else. A few weeks go by and a good friend of mine started to become friends with Steven. I was screaming at my friend in my mind, because why would she want to become friends with someone like that! More time goes by, and all of a sudden all three of us started hanging out. Then I realized, well he really isn't that bad of a person. About six months go by, and I started to realize something...I am starting to like Steven. One night, as we are leaving work, he asks me to go have dinner with him. We get in the car and start leaving when he looks at me, and kisses me. I did what any simple-minded woman would do. I jumped out of the car and sped home. I then realized how stupid I was, and immediately called him. Few weeks go by and he asks me to be his girlfriend, and the rest is history!

Kayden and I met at Studio Movie Grill in April of 2021. When Kayden started working there, we didn’t really talk. She says she couldn’t stand me, and I can’t say I blame her. I was very arrogant and self-centered, but I promise I am not that way now. The way we officially met was through her friend, Madi. After our initial meet, we would go out to eat together and hang out in our friend group. Around June, we were on cleaning crew (turns) together every Tuesday until August, and after three months of us hanging around each other and working together, I started to change. Although my thoughts on work were relatively the same, I became more tolerable to a wider group of people, and most importantly, Kayden. In early September, I remember sitting in my car and quickly sneaking in a kiss just before we left Studio. This was a huge thing for her, she reacted how I hoped she would. She freaked out, got out of the car, and sped off. Being the calm and collective person that I am, I responded by calling her non-stop for the next twenty minutes to no avail. She finally called shortly after, apologizing profusely for leaving the way she did. We then hung out every day for the next three weeks. On September 9th I went into work, and asked the one of my colleagues, Ethan, what he thought of Kayden. He responded by saying that she was very nice and seemed to be comfortable around me. A couple weeks pass, and I see Ethan, who was working bar at the time, and go to talk to him. Kayden walks up, and he looks at both of us, squints his eyes, and asked if we were a thing. I look at Kayden, she looks at me and smiles, and I tell him that we had started dating and had been together for about a week. The rest is history!
