Our story started back in 2018 on the cross country trails of high school, though technically Charlie noticed Kayden first. Running for rival teams, Wellington High School and Jupiter High, we kept seeing each other at meets. Somewhere between the starting line and the finish, Charlie recognized Kayden as more than just another runner… even if Kayden didn’t quite notice right away. We officially met at a high school Halloween party, which feels fitting because from that moment on, things started to feel a little magical and maybe a little chaotic too. What started as a simple introduction quickly turned into going on dates. After high school, life did what it does best and sent us in different directions. One of us stayed in Florida while the other headed to Virginia, and we both went off to experience college and figure out who we were. Even though we went our separate ways, our story clearly wasn’t done yet. It just needed a little intermission. In 2024, we found our way back to each other, and it didn’t take long to realize that everything we had before was still there, only better. This time, with a little more life experience and slightly fewer cross country miles, it all just made sense. By June 2025, we made it official, and the rest is history, or at least the beginning of our favorite chapter so far. From passing each other at races, to going our separate ways, to finding our way back again, our story proves that God's timing really is everything. And now, we are just excited to keep running through life together, with no finish line in sight.
