FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kaycie Chrystan and Young Cox
Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Everything will take place at MillCreek Wilde in Watervliet, Michigan. 68770 80th Ave, Watervliet, MI 49098 Once you arrive, simply follow the signs to the ceremony. After we say "I do," cocktails, dinner, and dancing will all be at the same venue.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony so you have time to park, find your seat, and settle in. The ceremony will begin promptly.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding style is cocktail attire with a moody, romantic feel. Think: Long dresses or midi dresses Suits or dress shirts with slacks Rich earth tones, jewel tones, black, or neutrals Wear whatever makes you feel confident—we simply ask that you leave the white for the bride.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), while the reception will be both indoor and outdoor. Michigan weather loves surprises, so bringing a light jacket is never a bad idea.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate who is invited. As much as we'd love to celebrate with everyone, we're only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we've chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a night out.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Absolutely! We're having a taco truck for dinner along with late-night snacks because dancing requires fuel. Hors d'oeuvres will be available at cocktail hour. The tacos will be choice of asada (steak), pollo (chicken) & al pastor (pork). All tacos will be served on a corn tortilla (naturally gluten free) and guests are able to choose their own toppings.

Question

What if I don't like tacos?

Answer

Pack a granola bar.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We'll have beer, wine, cocktails, and plenty of non-alcoholic options. Please celebrate responsibly and arrange a safe ride home if needed.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We'd love for you to snap away during the reception! For the ceremony, we're asking everyone to be fully present and keep phones tucked away. We've hired an amazing photographer, and we promise to share the beautiful moments afterward.

Question

Can I post photos on social media?

Answer

Of course! We'd love to see the day through your eyes. If you share photos, don't forget to tag us and use our wedding hashtag: #ForeverYoung

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! Plenty of complimentary parking is available at the venue.

Question

Are gifts expected?

Answer

Your presence is truly the greatest gift. If you'd like to celebrate us further, we've put together a registry and honeymoon fund for our next adventure together. It can be found under the "Registry" tab on our website.

Question

Will your cats be there?

Answer

As much as Smokey and Kimba would love to greet every guest, they'll be cheering us on from home. (Keep an eye out—they'll still be making a few surprise appearances throughout the day.)

Question

Is there anything I shouldn't forget?

Answer

Bring: Your dancing shoes Your appetite Your camera for the reception Your best moves Leave behind: Stress Work emails White dresses Questions for the bride
