We're getting married!

It started way back in 4th grade... they attended the same elementary school. By the time they were in high school, they were known as the shortest guy and girl in their grade and everyone seemed to know before they did that they'd end up together! After reconnecting in college, Mitch invited Kayci to an Eric Church concert equipped with plenty of Jack Daniel's to last the night. Bad singing, off beat swaying, and hangovers were soon to follow, but this is where they began.

It began at the campground where Mitch had scored the best campsite overlooking the lake for the perfect proposal. That next morning, they would wake up early to go fishing with the ring hidden in a tackle box. On their way back to the docks she would see both of their families waiting along the shore and he would get on one knee to pop the question. Well, neither of them got a nibble, the boat broke down, Kayci had no idea why Mitch was so upset, and they had to get towed back to the docks. At the docks, everyone stood in silence waiting for something but Kayci still had no idea what was going on. Finally Mitch revealed the tackle box and got down on one knee. After Kayci said yes, her family showed up. Better late than never. Regardless, celebration was soon to follow and everyone couldn't stop laughing at the whole ordeal. But hey, it makes quite a good fish tale.
