Zak and I met for the first time during our junior year of high school in Criminal Justice class. What started as casual conversations between assignments quickly turned into something special. By the time winter rolled around, we decided to go on our first date. It was freezing outside, but that didn’t stop us. We had dinner at Dos Coronas, laughing and getting to know each other even better. Afterward, we bundled up and walked through the cold to the movie theater, our breath visible in the winter air and our hands finding their way together. That night was simple, a little chilly, and completely perfect. From that moment on, Zak and I have been inseparable ever since.
