It was Kaycee’s birthday weekend where she thought she was going to the city for dinner to celebrate. Keith told her she had to be dressed and ready by 6:30 sharp. Her friend Nicole finished her makeup, helped her get ready and had to get her outside. Nicole managed to get her to come outside with a guilt trip—but it worked. Keith was already outside because he had to “walk the dog” which Kaycee didn’t think was out of the ordinary. Nicole was talking to Kaycee to distract her from everything going on, asking her where they’re going in the city, showings they had gone to, houses they were thinking about buying, etc. Nicole quickly said what is that and turned left. Kaycee immediately knew it was for her—in front of her eyes she saw a large “marry me” sign in bright lights, a photographer and videographer capturing the moment, their song playing in the background and Keith standing at the top of the steps. Kaycee made her way to the top of the steps where she met him and eventually where Keith got down on one knee, asking her to marry him. Without a doubt Kaycee responded yes and screams of excitement rushed towards the newly engaged couple. Family and loved ones were able to witness the beautiful proposal and celebrate with the two of them!
