Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, only children specified on the invitation are allowed to attend. We hope you understand our decision to limit the amount of guests attending our wedding and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception will be held indoors.

Where do I stay?

Answer

We recommend you choose to stay at the venue property. They offer a 10% discount to wedding guests. There are condos, cabins, homes and rooms available to rent for parties of any size. We have also listed hotels in Bend and Sisters Oregon, that are about 30 minutes away from the ranch, on the travel page. *any hotel in Bend, Redmond, La Pine, or Prineville is approximately a ~30 minute drive from the venue. We understand that a lot of places have already been booked, please note there is still a lot of availability for the dates in the central oregon area.

How do I receive the discount for lodging at Black Butte Ranch?

Answer

Guests must mention the Martnick-Jeffers Wedding to receive the 10% lodging discount. Guests who are booking by phone may call 800-452-7455 to book. Guests can book online by visiting the link on the Travel page. When booking online, please mention the Martnick-Jeffers wedding under the comments section. The reservations team follows up with each online booking, and at that time will make sure that the discount is extended.

What date should I arrive?

Answer

The venue property has a 3 night minimum stay for rental homes at the ranch. We advise all guests to book in advance to ensure availability of reservations. We recommend guests fly in Friday, July 10 and depart Monday, July 13 if staying on the venue property. However, guests may fly in and depart whenever they please.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

This event requires cocktail attire. (PLEASE DO NOT WEAR WHITE)

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless given permission by the bride or groom, no plus ones are allowed. This is an invitation only event.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We will be serving hors d-oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit down barbecue buffet style dinner with selections of meat, salad, and sides.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Beer and wine will be served with an option to purchase your own cocktail.

Where should we bring or send our wedding gift?

Answer

We have provided a link to our registry on the wedding registry page. Gift cards and cash gifts are accepted at the venue.

What time do I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We plan to begin the ceremony promptly at 4:00 in the afternoon. We ask that all guests have a timely arrival to the property at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Will there be a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a cocktail hour with lawn games, refreshments, and hors d-oeuvres.
