FAQs

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be indoors. If you plan to spend time outside before or after the events, note that in April Las Vegas typically sees highs around 78–82°F and lows around 51–58°F.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

A complimentary shuttle will be available for all of the wedding activities including the ceremony and reception. It will depart the Venetian Resort at 4:45PM and return to the Venetian after dinner around 10:00PM. Please be on time for each stop if choosing to take the shuttle. There is no alcohol allowed on board :( sorry. Otherwise, rideshare services like Uber, Lyft, and taxis are easily accessible in Las Vegas. If bringing a car, the reception and ceremony venues both have parking available nearby.

Question

Are plus ones allowed?

Answer

There are strict guest limits at each venue, so only guests named on invitations will be allowed.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

If taking the shuttle, please arrive to the Venetian by 4:45PM for transportation to the ceremony. If not taking the shuttle, please arrive at 5:15PM for the ceremony. Doors will open and it will start promptly at 5:30PM. The ceremony is short and sweet so please do not be late :)

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the reception?

Answer

We will have a buffet-style menu featuring a market table with seasonal salads, vegetables, cheeses and cured meats; a feijoada bar with Brazilian black bean stew and sausage; seasonal soups; and additional small plates. Unlimited table side fire-roasted meats will include filet mignon, rib eye, picanha, lamb chops, chicken and sausage. A choice of dessert will be offered. Vegetarian options are available upon request (please indicate in your RSVP)

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yeah! There will be two hours of unlimited top shelf premium drinks including cocktails, imported and domestic beers, wines, and all non-alcoholic drinks including mocktails, sodas, bottled water, coffee, espresso, and iced tea at dinner.

Question

What will the ceremony be like?

Answer

Short and sweet! It will be a very untraditional ceremony - Las Vegas elopement style. Think 5-10 minute ceremony. Group photos will be taken after. There will be a photobooth available at the ceremony venue to take photos as well.

Question

Who is in the wedding party?

Answer

Just the bride and the groom :)

Question

Where should I book my hotel?

Answer

Anywhere you prefer in Vegas! We understand there are many options to choose from in Las Vegas and different budgets and styles, and we also want you to enjoy yourselves on your vacation. Bride and Groom will be staying at The Venetian (Fri-Sun) and you are welcome to join or choose anywhere of your liking.

Question

How many guests are expected?

Answer

We are doing an intimate wedding with around 35 people. Immediate family and close friends.

Question

Can we drink alcohol in the chapel?

Answer

The chapel has strict rules against drinking during the ceremony and/or showing up visibly intoxicated. Please save the celebrating for the reception - we will have an open bar during that time.

Question

Where is the wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence on our special day is the greatest present we could ask for. We appreciate the effort involved in joining us for our wedding, so please, no gifts!

Question

Will there be a party closer to home if I can not attend?

Answer

Yes! If you are unable to attend, we completely understand. It is a big ask to have a destination wedding. We will be hosting a casual get together back in Wisconsin for extended family and friends sometime in the summer or fall of 2027.

Question

Who should we contact if we have any questions or need help?

Answer

Feel free to text either of us anytime! Whether you have questions about travel, attire, or anything else, let us know!
