Is there a room block for the weekend?

Answer

Yes, the Chicago Athletic Association has a block of rooms held under the Brungs/Laud wedding. Please call 844-312-2221 to make a reservation.

Question

Where are the bride and groom registered?

Answer

There is a registry tab on the website but if you have any issues they are registered at Bloomingdales and Zola.com.

Question

Will I get to select my meal?

Answer

Yes, dinner will be served restaurant style, and the waiter will take your meal choice table side. You can share any food allergies directly with the waiter when they take your order.

What time does the ceremony start?

The ceremony starts at 5 pm CT

Where will the ceremony take place?

Answer

Fourth Presbyterian Church’s sanctuary. The official address is 126 E. Chestnut Street. The entrance to the sanctuary is on Michigan avenue closest to Delaware Street.

What time does cocktail hour start and where?

Answer

Cocktail hour will begin at 6:45 pm CT at the Chicago Athletic Association’s White City Ballroom.

What floor is the White City Ballroom on?

Answer

It is located on the 8th floor of the Chicago Athletic Association.

Are there elevators to the Ballroom?

Answer

Yes.

Do we have to pay for drinks?

Answer

Of course not! This is a PARTY!!!

What time does the reception end?

Answer

We’re planning to keep the party going until 12:45 am CT. So rest up, and come ready to celebrate!

Will the Chicago Athletic Association be able to accommodate my specific food needs?

Answer

Yes, when you order dinner with the waiter, you will be able to specify any food sensitivities.

Will transportation be provided to and from the Chicago Athletic Association?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to the ceremony but we will have transportation from the ceremony back to the Chicago Athletic Association.

Are there any other activities planned this weekend?

Answer

The only things planned are welcome drinks at the Chicago Athletic Association’s second floor Game Room at 9:00 pm Jan. 4, the ceremony and the reception. So go out and get to know this amazing city! We’ve included our list of favorites on this website in the ‘Things to do’ section.
