Matron of Honor
Jacque and I met at a Bible study I went to one time when I first moved to Waxahachie almost 7 years ago. I would say it was a fluke, but I know God had bigger plans for both of us that day. We were both first year teachers, and we became fast friends. We even ended up living together for 5 years! Jacque is a loyal and faithful friend. She's not afraid to tell me like it is, but at the end of the day I know she's "Team Kay." We've shared so many laughs and even some tears, and I'm honored to have her stand by my side on my big day!
Best Man
I'm trying not to cry as I'm typing this. My best friend, my ride or die, my tag-team partner, my biggest friendly rival, but most importantly, my little BIG brother! It means the world to have Miguel be my best man on the most important day of my life so far. I remember talking on the phone with him and telling him about Kay. He then says, "Ok put my brother on the phone because this is someone I've never met.". That's when we knew that Kay was the one. I'll always remember those last nights of video games with pizza, 2 am trips to Whataburger when we couldn't sleep, or when we got in trouble...A LOT!!!! Thank you for showing me, counseling me, and coaching me on what marriage life awaits for me. We need to get in a few rounds of FIFA before I get married. I love you, broski!

Who would I be without Claire Stanley?? We go way back to elementary school, meeting in our childhood church. Some of my favorite memories include butterfly birthday parties, summer days at camp or painting her deck and making the dumbest and most hilarious videos ever! Our friendship has matured and deepened so much over the years and I know I can depend on Claire for anything - a good laugh or listening ear. Sometimes I care too much about what others might think about me, but Claire's free spirit is infectious! Life is too short not to dance! Thank you for always encouraging me to do just that.

Man if I had a twin brother, KC would be the less handsome one. LOL JK! KC is honestly one of my best friends. I never thought I could meet another goofy person like myself until I met KC. I'll never forget the first words he told me when we met, "are you wearing Fierce?" he made a comment about my cologne which I was weirded out by LOL. Never a dull moment with this guy, always down for an adventure, and always down to have some fun regardless of what we are doing. He's one of a few friends that can show up to family gatherings without me being there. Let's do a toe touch for the one time...hopefully this time you won't rip your pants LOL!!!!! I love you, bro!

You read her name right, Caitlin Perry. Ang guess what - her middle name is Marie too! We were thrown together as roommates our first year at DBU (we both suspect because of our names), and stuck together the whole way through. I think a story that defines our friendship was our Gift of the Magi moment when I saw a spider in our bathroom one morning and let it live because I knew she loves spiders (weirdo), and later that day she killed that very spider because she knew I hate them. That's a good friend right there! Love you, froomie!

Oof!!! When I first met Seth, he did not like me at all!!! He thought I was too much LOL because I talk a lot and I can be pretty annoying. But that's exactly what our friendship needed. During my college season, Seth and I became best friends. We learned a lot about each other and how to love each other with a Christ-like mind. It wasn't easy since we both had different backgrounds, but I wouldn't change it for anything. Seth has taught me so much about how to be a brother to friends and how to communicate especially in hard moments. If there's anyone out there that can talk about how hard it was at losing at Mario Kart, it'll be Seth! He suffered a lot when we lived together at HBU LOL!!! I'll never forget putting him in scenarios where he is embarrassed or when I encourage him to order tacos at the taco truck in Spanish. Te Amo, Hermano.

My first friend in Waxahachie! Alex and I started teaching at Waxahachie High School together and became fast friends when we shared a hotel room at a math conference without even knowing each other first. We taught together, did grad school together, worked out together. She even invited me to family gatherings since she knew I wasn't from the area. And then she left me to become a chiropractor! The nerve! Thank goodness for technology! She's my favorite "vlogger" and an awesome sounding board when I'm trying to make sure I'm thinking about things the right way. You're a real one, Alex Skelton!

My boy Paul Wall AKA Paul Breezy AKA Idk what else to say LOL! Dude, you taught me so much! Our friendship started in our Theology class and then we had deeper conversations about our walk with Christ. I started noticing our friendship becoming more of a Big/Little brother relationship which is something I'll always appreciate. I've seen so much growth in your life, from being a sophomore, graduating, and entering that marriage life. It is such an honor to have you as one of my groomsmen. I'm praying that we can continue to have late-night Whataburger runs like the good old college days. My man thought he was better than me at Smash bros until I turned Super Saiyan and showed him who the real RA was LOL! I love you, bro!

Olivia is steady and dependable. She's been with me since just before middle school and stuck with me! Every time we talk we end by saying, "we need to do this more often!' and we never do, and yet every time we talk, it's as if no time has passed. Olivia challenges me to grow and also makes me laugh. She makes the best cookies! As I'm thinking of her I'm realizing that all of my friends are hilarious and great listeners! The Lord knows I need both in my relationships! Thank you for being such a loving friend!

My guy!!! We met at college and we were the only few guys in the Education Department and I wouldn't change that. Our friendship was built through soccer, school, homework/study sessions, but the one I'd like to put in the spotlight is the long Christlike conversations. You call me out when I need it, help me up when I'm beating myself up, and you've been a huge help with my relationship with Kay. I'd never forget the one night I called you and you said, "I was reading the book of Job, specifically where his friend is giving him advice and you called." that just confirmed that our friendship is definitely built with the love of Christ. I still need to race you bro! You can't test your limits til you beat the true final boss!!! Find out on the next episode of Dragon Ball Z...LOL! I love you, bro!

Kelsey and I met at DBU our freshman year. I actually remember being jealous of how easily she related to people at a freshman event, but when we shared sometime like 4 of the same classes that first semester, I knew we better just go ahead and be friends. And thank the Lord for Kelsey Bruce! She is the most hard-working, disciplined, talented person I know. Sometimes I marvel at her, but then she is always redirecting to the One who made her that way. She is faithful with her gifts and she is an inspiration to me. I look up to you so much, Kelsey, and I'm honored to call you my friend! Her corny jokes are also a huge plus. :)

When I moved to the DFW area, I wanted my brother to move with me. When I met Anthony, I felt like God gave me my brother. We met when we first started working out at Fit Body Boot Camp along with his wife Hilda. We then became good friends and eventually became brothers. Ant-Man has been there in my good and bad times. If there is anyone that knows the season I went through in 2021, it'll be Anthony. Always there when I needed a hand, a bro talk, and a workout buddy that challenges me. In the one year that we've been friends, I feel like we've known each other for a while. I'll never forget the excitement when you bought your house and I came down to try and move a fridge inside haha struggles were real!! I love you, brother!
