We're getting married.

It all started with a serendipitous encounter that neither of us saw coming. We were at a friend’s party—Ian trying to look cool and composed, Kay completely unaware that her life was about to change. It wasn’t love at first sight… at least not for Kay. Ian, however, would probably tell you he was smitten right away. Our first conversation was a mix of awkward pauses, nervous laughter, and an attempt to find common ground. (Spoiler: it didn’t take long.) Before we knew it, we were laughing at the same jokes, discovering shared hobbies, and realizing we both loved binge-watching old sitcoms, arguing over which pizza toppings were superior, and making plans for spontaneous road trips. From that day on, everything just clicked. We started seeing more of each other—from spontaneous late-night food runs, long conversations about everything and nothing, to eventually realizing we couldn’t imagine a day without one another. Looking back, that seemingly ordinary day turned out to be the beginning of the greatest adventure of our lives. Now, as we prepare to say "I do", we can’t help but think how grateful we are for that moment—the one where our story began. And the rest, as they say, is history... or rather, just the beginning.
