We are asking that you take this as an opportunity to take a weekend off from the kiddos. There will be a few kids participating in our wedding party but if not, please respect our wishes and take this as an occasion to let loose and have fun while letting parental responsibilities go for the weekend. We hope this is a treat and not an inconvenience!
We love plus ones! if you are wanting to bring someone who wasn't deliberately invited to this event please check in with us before showing up so we can account for plus ones in the final headcount. We ask that if you have a significant other you would like to bring please run it by us, but please do not bring someone we both don't know for the sake of having a plus one.
Because we are hoping you will make a weekend trip out of our wedding weekend we will not be doing a shuttle. All locations in the "travel" tab are within uber/lyft distance from our venue, as well as being 10minutes from the PDX airport. Carpool is of course encouraged!
Whatever is comfortable for you! We want you to be able to have a blast and get down! Think summery dresses of the gals, and dress pants and button up for the guys. This is an opportunity to wear something fun and get dressed up, so enjoy it! Keep in mind it may get cool after the sun sets.
YES! This is a peanut free event. Please do not bring or consume peanut products at this event. Other nuts are okay!
Yes. We hope you will take the rest of the weekend to explore the Portland area and meet us for other weekend events mentions on previous pages. If you have time constraints, our venue is conveniently located 10 minutes from the Portland airport.
Feel free to pregame as you please! However all alcohol consumed at the venue must be served by the licensed bartenders we have hired. Please do not bring any form of alcohol with you and instead enjoy the fun drinks we’ve picked for our special day!
While we cannot force all our guests to get vaccinated, for the safety and comfort of ourselves and our guests please consider obtaining a vaccine prior to our wedding date. Most states have opened access to all adults and we strongly encourage you to consider vaccination. If you choose not to be vaccinated before September, please strongly reconsider your travel plans and attendance to our event. If you choose to attend and are unvaccinated, please obtain a covid test prior. We will respect your choices but have pushed through a hard and challenging year to have this celebration and we all need to consider the safety of our loved ones who will be coming together for this special occasion.
If you are renting a car you may bring it to the venue and leave on site until early Monday morning! Uber and Lyft are great options for transport around the city as well. In light of covid, we are aware that both are experiencing surges and may be expensive. That being said we are hoping by September, covid restriction will be lifted even more so and more drivers will be out, decreasing prices. We do recommend scheduling a pick up beforehand since our celebration is on a Sunday night in order to ensure a safe ride back to your accommodations. There are also several car sharing services that are wildly popular in the city, both Turo and Free2Move are great options worth checking out! Radio cab is also widely used throughout the city and allows scheduling online ahead of time as well. Contact info is: 503-227-1212, https://www.radiocab.net/#/booking/ You safety is of course top priority!
Masks are back. As of August 24th Oregon has reinstated an indoor & outdoor mask mandate when in large groups and not actively eating or drinking, and unfortunately weddings are included. We know, it totally sucks. Many tears have been shed over this but at the end of the day this is for the health and safety of everyone we love and it won’t keep us from having a hell of a time! So with that in mind, dig out your fanciest, funniest, brightest, mask and get ready to party! If we gotta do it we might as well have fun with it. Keep an eye on this section of our website over the next couple weeks as I will keep updating as things undoubtedly continue to change.
