Take a drive through the Presidio for some great views. Baker Beach and Immigrant Point Overlook are some of our favorite spots. Take a walk through Lover's Lane if you have the time.
Grab a coffee and take a walk on Chestnut St, where you'll find some lively bars, restaurants, and shops. Check out the Palace of Fine Arts, and definitely walk along the beach at Chrissy Field. If you're feeling ambitious, you can continue all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge.
On your way up to Healdsburg, stop by either The Joinery in Sausalito or Sam's Anchor Cafe in Tiburon for some great food and views of SF.
You'll find some of the best hiking in the Bay Area over in Marin. For the views and the beach go to Rodeo Beach and hike the Coastal Trail. For a workout, check out Steep Ravine or the trails near Trojan Point on Mt. Tam (where we got engaged).
Some of our favorites wineries are Dry Creek Vineyard, Matrix Winery, Flowers Vineyard, Reeve Wines and Mazzocco Winery. Grab a bike and explore. Or walk around town and pop into some tasting rooms, like Siduri, Banshee, Ernest or Marine Layer Wines.
Check out some of our favorite restaurants in town. We love Willi's Seafood & Raw Bar, Little Saint, Costeaux French Bakery and Black Oak Coffee Roasters. For a nicer dinner we recommend The Matheson and Valette.
Check out the massive Redwoods at Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. It's a 20-30 minute drive from downtown Healdsburg. If you get thirsty along the way, grab a champagne flight at the Korbel Winery or a beer at Stumptown Brewery right near the entrance.
Grab a tube, a speaker, and some refreshments and float along the super slow Russian River.
