A Mendhi (Henna) Party is a celebration in which the bride/grooms family members and friends come together to enjoy an afternoon where Henna is applied. The bride will have both her hands, and feet done prior to the henna party. This is a time for family and friends to have part of their hands done. Please plan to arrive on time as the event will start promptly 4pm. No alcohol will be served.

Pithi/Sangeet Night- The Pithi Ceremony symbolizes the cleansing and purification of the bride and groom before the wedding. It's a ritual specifically for good luck and well-wishes. Each guest will put turmeric paste on the bride and groom, feed them an MnM, and throw rose petals over their heads. Blessings/prayers for the happy couple will be shared. After, this portion of the ceremony, the groom and all the guests will go outside. The groom will be doused in ketchup, mustard, eggs, juice etc. This is a fun ritual in which the groom is learning “what might be thrown his way” in the marriage. To end the evening, the bride and the groom will come back to the event hall after changing, and enjoy the evening with the family and friends. There will be food, music and dancing throughout. Please plan to arrive promptly on time as the event will begin at 5pm. No alcohol will be served.

American Wedding Ceremony

Formal Attire
The Bride and Groom will engage in a traditional American ceremony in which a minister will officiate the wedding. After the American ceremony, the bride and groom will depart to get dressed for the Nikah (Muslim ceremony). Please plan to arrive on time as the event will begin promptly at 11am and finish after the Nikkah and Koba Kobi Ceremony.
Nikah (Ismaili Muslim Ceremony)/Koba Kobi

Formal Attire
The Nikah ceremony is the Muslim marriage ceremony. In the Islamic tradition, the marriage contract is signed during the Nikah and it’s during this event that the bride and groom say, “I do.” After this ceremony, the brides immediate family, and grooms immediate family will join the bride and groom for games known as the Koba Kobi.
Pakistani/American Wedding Reception

Indian/American Formal Attire
The bride and groom will enter as a newly wedded couple. The couple will have their first dance, and partake in a cake cutting ceremony. The evening will continue with dinner being served, dances performed, and greats MC’s for the evening. Please plan to arrive on time, as the event will begin promptly at 7pm. No alcohol will be served.
