Do I need to apply for a visa before my flight?

Answer

There is the option to either pay for a visa online or upon arrival at the airport (500K IDR) to enter the country for tourism. Applying for a visa online is quick and easy. This may expedite entry into the country. If you'd like to apply for a visa prior to arrival, please visit https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/web/visa-selection, follow the prompts, and select "B1 - Tourist (Visa on Arrival)".

What is the best mode of transportation?

Answer

You can hire someone to drive you during your stay! If you'd like to coordinate hiring a personal driver during your stay, please fill out the following form by January 1, 2026: https://forms.gle/SAgSnw29oCLokGYK9. Rideshare apps such as Grab and Gojek are also available in Bali. We used Grab in November and it works very well. There is no shortage of drivers. Central Ubud doesn’t have many sidewalks so we recommend hiring someone or using a taxi/Grab/Gojek. Also, if you are planning to book any activities, many companies offer hotel pick up/drop off.

We will have a set menu, however please let us know if you have any allergies!

Can I invite a plus one?

Answer

We wish we could include everyone, but to keep the wedding intimate, we've limited the guest list to those addressed on the invitation.
