Jonathan and Kristen’s story began not with a swipe, but with a strike — on the bowling lanes. What started as a shared love for bowling quickly turned into a genuine friendship that grew stronger over several years. They cheered each other on at tournaments, shared countless laughs, and unknowingly laid the foundation for something much bigger. Then came Las Vegas. In true Jonathan fashion, he “tricked” Kristen into attending a bowling tournament by stepping out of the event at the last minute and letting her take his place — without telling her ahead of time. That weekend turned into their very first date, and from that moment on, the rest was history ✨ They fell head over heels for each other and quickly became experts at long-distance love, racking up Southwest points while traveling back and forth between Oregon and the Bay Area just to spend time together. Bowling tournaments became mini adventures, and every trip felt like a new chapter they were writing side by side. One of those chapters led them to Hawaii 🌺 — a vacation that felt like a dream. Jonathan planned a special day that included a beach photoshoot, ocean breezes, and a moment Kristen would never forget. As the sun glowed and waves rolled in, Jonathan got down on one knee and asked the question that changed everything. It was magical, emotional, and absolutely perfect. Today, Jonathan and Kristen are settling into their new home in Beaverton, building a life filled with love, laughter, bowling, and travel — all shared with their two fur babies, Finn and Millie 🐾🐾. They can’t wait to celebrate their forever with the people who mean the most to them.
