FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family. Due to limited space, plus-ones are only extended to those listed on your invitation. If you received a plus-one, it will be clearly indicated on your invitation and RSVP form. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We kindly request that our wedding be a celebration for guests aged 16 and older. We hope this allows you a chance to relax and fully enjoy the weekend with us!

Question

Do I need to RSVP separately for each event?

Answer

Yes, please! Each event has its own guest list and headcount needs, so we kindly ask that you RSVP for every event you're invited to. This helps us plan food, seating, and logistics more accurately.

Question

Does Western attire mean cowboy-themed clothing?

Answer

No, Western attire refers to the difference between Eastern (Indian) and Western (Americas) clothing. If an event is labeled with the phrase "Semi-Formal Western Attire" or "Formal Western Attire," we are referring to common Western clothing, such as a dress, blazer, or suit.

Question

Will food be served at the events?

Answer

Yes! We’ve made sure all of our celebrations are filled with delicious food. Here’s what to expect: Sangeet: Dinner will be available in the form of various food stations. Wedding Ceremony: Light snacks and refreshments will be available beforehand, and a full lunch will be served after the ceremony. Cocktail hour: Appetizers will served along with drinks. Reception: A full dinner will be served, along with drinks and desserts to keep the party going.

Question

How do I share my dietary restrictions?

Answer

We want everyone to enjoy the food safely and comfortably, so all dishes will also be clearly labeled with common allergens at each event. There will be gluten free, nut free, dairy free, and vegan options. If you have additional concerns, let us know!

Question

Will this be an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes, our preference is for an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask guests to keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present and enjoy the moment.

Question

Are gifts expected?

Answer

No, your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you feel inclined, we have a registry available online.
