Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside. The dinner and dancing will be inside. If it rains, there will be a tent covering the ceremony area.

How far is the Chelsea Vineyard from Ottawa?

Answer

The Chelsea Vineyard is about a 15-20 minute drive from the Byward Market in downtown Ottawa.

Is there taxi service available to and from the Chelsea Vineyard?

Answer

No there is not. Shuttle buses will be available for transportation to and from Chelsea Vineyard from downtown Ottawa.

Where is the pickup location for the shuttle and when does it depart for the Chelsea Vineyard?

Answer

The shuttle will pick up guests at 3:30pm from the Andaz Hotel in the Byward Market. Please meet at the loading zone located on York Street.

What time does the shuttle depart to take guests back to Ottawa?

Answer

There will be two time options to take the shuttle back into Ottawa. The first will depart at 11:00PM and the second will depart at 1:00AM. Both shuttles will return to the Andaz Hotel in the Byward Market.

Do I have to take the shuttle to Chelsea Vineyard?

Answer

No. There is plenty of parking at Chelsea Vineyard if you would prefer to drive. We encourage carpooling as we do not want any guests drinking and driving. If you need to leave your car overnight you may do so and take one of the shuttles home at night.

Are there rooms reserved for guests at a specific hotel?

Answer

We have not reserved any rooms for guests. We would recommend staying at one of many hotels located in the Byward Market as most are within walking distance of the shuttle pickup/drop-off location.
