Although 2020 was a year that kept many people apart, it was the year that brought Brian, Kauri-Lynn, Elliana, Isaac and Autumn together. The friendship between Brian and Kauri grew into the partnership it is today. The kids instantly loved being together. A beautiful family unit was born!

In November of 2021 a trip was taken out west to celebrate Kauri’s 30th birthday! First stop was to visit Brian’s sister Jean Marie and her now husband, Justin, in Las Vegas, Nevada. After a few days of hiking, exploring, and epic people-watching on the strip, the two headed to Grand Canyon National Park. Upon arrival, Kauri and Brian took a sunset stroll full of unforgettable views. While “having their photo taken to capture the moment”, Brian got down on one knee and asked for Kauri’s hand in marriage, and the union of their two families. She said “Yes!” which is why we’re all hear planning this special day!
