Arrive no later than 5:20pm and no earlier than 4:45pm. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm and we do not want people interrupting the wedding party precession since the same walkway to the ceremony area is used for the entrance of the wedding party and the bride.
Ceremony will be outside (bring an umbrella in case of inclement weather). Cocktail hour will be outside and inside. Reception will be inside.
Semi-Formal. March in the evening is going to be cold, so ladies consider longer dresses, a pantsuit, and/or a dressy jacket or shawl. Shoes that are not difficult to walk in the grass with would be suggested since the ceremony is in the forest down the hill from the reception area. For the gentleman, a dress shirt and slacks with a tie or bow tie, a suit, or (if you really want to) a tuxedo.
NO! Our ceremony will be an “unplugged” ceremony with NO pictures or videos allowed during it. We are paying good money for a photographer and videographer and we do not want to see your arms with your cellphones in the way. If you would like a picture or video of us you can do so after the ceremony or we will be happy to buy you a print or CD from our vendors.
Yes, we encourage all our guests to take and post pictures on social media during the wedding, EXCEPT DURING THE UNPLUGGED CEREMONY. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #foreverfoggie so we can keep track of all your pictures!
The parking area is at the front of the venue and is free. There will be a parking attendant helping everyone park.
