We're Getting Married!

The first time Ali unofficially met Eric was in 2017, when she was a hostess at Baleen restaurant. Her coworker at the time had just gone skydiving with his friend, and was excited to show everyone the video of them jumping out of a plane. Flash forward to 2022, when Eric and Ali first began dating. Eric shared with Ali that he once went skydiving with a friend, and proceeded to show her the video-- which she realized she had already seen 5 years prior. After that, Ali and Eric crossed paths twice more. In 2019, they attended a birthday brunch, but sat on opposite sides of the table. In 2021, they were at the same pool party, but missed each other yet again. Finally, the invisible string brought them together in 2022, when they matched on Hinge. They came to discover that they were also living in the same apartment complex-- only two buildings apart. On June 8, 2024, Ali and Eric returned to their home state of New York. Eric rented out the top floor of the Summit One Vanderbilt and popped the question amongst the breathtaking views of the city skyline. We feel truly grateful and blessed to have found each other.
