We're Getting Married!

We met in 2014 the same way that every couple has met since the beginning of time - online! Brian was in China for work, and Hillary was volunteering at a summer camp in Maine. We talked through the time zones until Brian worked up the courage to ask Hillary on their first date - 9/6/14! We went to dinner at Seasons 52 and then went bowling, Hillary remembers she had asked Brian to draw her a picture on his long flight home from China, and on our first date Brian gave Hillary a picture of a rose that he drew on the plane. She knew from that moment that he was special! In the beginning of the new romance, Hillary and Brian went to Point Pleasant beach and took our first picture together, so we couldn't be happier at the coincidence (or fate!) that our first picture as husband and wife will be in that town as well! Trying to write all the things we mutually love for this story has made us notice something - we are total opposites! Together, we love to travel, we love learning new things, and we love each other. But other than that, we are completely different! Our tastes in music, food, and our idea of fun are all different, but that is what makes us so perfect for each other! Hillary loves that Brian is always so positive, always has her back, can always make her laugh, and is passionate about learning new things and helping others. Brian loves that Hillary is a patient and caring person, always knows the right thing to say, has a great sense of humor and has such a creative and adventurous spirit. On 6/10/17, Hillary and Brian went to a lantern festival in Pennsylvania. Hillary's mom tricked her into getting her nails done and wearing a pretty dress, but little did Hillary know that the lantern fest would turn into one of the best nights of her life! Brian told Hillary to "look up (it was breathtakingly beautiful) and now, look down" When she looked down, Brian was on his knee with a ring, the secret photographer in place, and the rest is history...
